Iran's Antisemitism Conference

The Iranians are holding a conference of so-called “experts” who deny that Jews were murdered in gas chambers and kilns during the Holocaust. This is part of the Iranians’ attempt to justify its anti-Semitism. The Iranians want to portray Jews as parasites on the world, and remove any historical “justification” for the founding of the state of Israel. They plan to do this by demonstrating that the Holocaust never happened, thereby showing that the Jews’ claims of suffering during world war two are lies and that a justification for the founding of Israel – that the Jews need their own land where they can protect themselves – is unfounded.

It is amazing and pathetic that Iran can dedicate resources to the conscious promotion of lies and hatred. The Iranian regime is demonstrating it absurdity openly on the world stage. Sadly, there are doubtless hoards in the muslim world that believe, or badly want to believe that what the Iranian government is saying is accurate. That makes it easier to hate Jews and Israel with a clear conscience and at the same time supports the theory that Jews will go to great lengths to undermine the non-Jewish world. If the Jews faked the Holocaust, it doesn’t take a leap of imagination to believe that they’re responsible for the misery and failure in the Muslim world. When a water main breaks in Baghdad, it really could be the Jews’ work.

The “experts” attending the Teheran convention are largely self-proclaimed intellectuals, known racists such as a former head of the Klu Klux Klan and neo-Nazis. The Iranians may have chosen attendees very well for audiences that are inclined to believe. My hope is that the vast majority of the world’s population understands the absurdity of the Iranian regime wholly discredit it, once and for all.
